Join us for the very first meeting of the Wrong Side of the Tracks Craft Club, the club where all take the train and craft together. Our very first journey begins at the Emeryville train station and ends in Martinez. We will head to Busywork to check out Message From The Threads, a special fiber arts exhibition, as well as have some snacks and shop with the visit pop ups for the yarn crawl.
We will first meet at A Verb for Keeping Warm at 1:00 and then walk 17 minutes to the Emeryville Station. From there, it is a 36 minute ride to Martinez and a five minute walk to Busywork. If you prefer to meet at the Emeryville Station, the group will be in the lobby of the station with a sign at 2pm.
We will be taking the 716 Gold Runner Train departing at 2:28. You must pre purchase your train ticket on the Amtrak website here: https://www.amtrak.com/home
We are not coordinating the train ride back so you are free to choose any return train.
For our first meeting, we have partnered with Amtrak's Gold Runner and Yarnalia to provide swag bags to the first 20 people who arrive!
