In this one hour workshop, you will select a prepared kit and stack these graduated acrylic beads on wire to create a beautiful, lightweight ornament for your holiday decorations. Participants will learn how to make a secure loop for the top of your ornament and how to finish it. The kit includes, pre-selected beads, wire, and a ribbon for hanging. Each ornament is approximately 31/2 - 4 inches long.
The class fee includes a kit to make one ornament. Additional bracelet kits can be purchased during class. Marianna will also be setting up a pop up of her own work.
About your instructor:
Bay Area native, Marianna, came to jewelry making rather late in life. A serial crafter, Marianna is finding that making jewelry is providing more satisfaction than other crafts she’s attempted. She enjoys the endless possibilities & the wide variety of design options. There is always something new to learn. She also loves experimenting with different combinations of colors, components, and techniques and passing along these ideas to interested learners. Marianna benefited from good instruction and she believes that getting a solid foundation in the basics lets you “take it and run with it.” The sky’s the limit.
This class has a minimum of 2 and maximum of 10 students. If class minimum is not met, the class will be cancelled and participants refunded. Minors 10 and older are welcome to take the class but must be accompanied by a paid adult. When purchasing this class, be sure to use add your correct email and contact info.
